2 Editors Tried the Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress, and Working Out Never Looked So Good

As a former tennis player, I’m no stranger to working out in a dress. When the Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress ($100) first came out a few years ago, I fell in love with the idea of a grown up tennis dress I could wear more casually, but the brand has totally revamped the style, and I, along with my colleague, fitness and wellness director Genevieve Farrell, got to test it out.

Genevieve has been a fan of the Outdoor Voices Exercise Dress since its official launch three years ago, and she says “it has always been my go-to on warm summer days where I want to feel comfortable but look put together. The updated dress is definitely new and improved. It still has their signature built-in bodysuit liner and lightweight fabric but now features the adjustable straps that make it so much more comfortable.”

As for me, I love working out in a dress; in fact, I’d spend all my time in a dress if I had the option. I love the adjustable straps; that’s an unexpectedly essential feature for me. Plus, there’s a built-in bodysuit with two side pockets, which are great for your phone, keys, mask, or even tennis balls. The dress is super comfortable; I went for a hike in it this morning, and am currently sitting in it writing this. Hot girl summer is here; embrace it in this dress.
