The BLUF Coaching Model
Often when new money mindset clients come in, they feel chaotic, fearful, or resentful of their relationships with money. By introducing the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) model and asking discovery questions to uncover the ultimate goal, the client is able to hone in on the immediate next step required. This helps refocus the client on the ultimate goal and move into sustainable and productive action.
When the initial BLUF is identified and worked through, the BLUF acronym shifts to “Build Legacy & Undeniable Freedom”. The client moves from overwhelmed (“I should” thoughts) to purpose (“I know what to do” actions). The client has shifted from endless and harmfully cyclical emotions of “searching” to a place of confidence, assured action, and emotional “solidity”.
