The SURE coaching model is designed to help individuals discover their life purpose, unlock their full potential, reach their goals, and embrace their journey toward fulfillment. This model provides a step-by-step approach to guide individuals through self-discovery, goal-setting, and personal growth.

Step 1: Sure About Your Life Purpose

Objective:

Discovering one’s purpose involves recognizing it as a multi-dimensional concept that includes trait, habit, and state levels and evolves over time. At the trait level, purpose influences long-term direction and fundamental values. At the habit level, it requires establishing routines that support life goals. At the state level, it’s important to be aware of and seek out moments that feel particularly meaningful[1]. Aligning long-term goals with everyday actions, regularly reassessing goals and values, participating in purposeful activities, and maintaining a balance between pursuing purpose and overall well-being is crucial for cultivating a strong sense of purpose, fostering personal development, and enhancing life satisfaction[2].

Therefore we are aiming to create space for self-discovery and uncover the habits and patterns shaping your life. Recognize your needs, desires, viewpoints, and reflections, as well as how they interact with others. Identify what to hold onto and what to let go, empowering you to uncover your true purpose.

Actions:

  1. Self-Reflection: The aim is to encourage you to reflect on your current habits, patterns, and interactions so you can identify your desires, needs, and viewpoints.
  2. Identify Core Values: the aim is to support you in identifying your core values and beliefs
  3. Define Life Purpose: The aim is to assist you in articulating your true purpose, and craft a clear and concise life purpose statement that will act as your compass throughout our work together.

Coaching questions:

  • How do you feel about your current situation?
  • What are the recurring patterns in your life?
  • What are your most important values?
  • What activities in your life bring you the most joy and fulfillment?
  • What would you like to change in your life?

Step 2: Unlock Your Full Potential

Objective:

Take practical steps toward unlocking your full potential and set goals. Actively listen to your own needs, desires, opinions, and thoughts. Identify obstacles, stop doubting yourself, and embrace your capabilities.

Actions:

  1. Goal Setting: Define clear and achievable goals aligned with your life purpose.
    • SMART Goals[3]: Set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound goals.
  2. Self-Assessment: Identify strengths and areas for improvement.
    • SWOT Analysis[4]: Conduct a personal SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis.
  3. Action Planning: Develop a step-by-step action plan to achieve your goals by breaking down your goals into manageable action steps.

Coaching questions:

  • What are your short-term and long-term goals?
  • What strengths can you leverage to achieve your goals?
  • What is holding you back?
  • What obstacles might you encounter and how can you overcome them?

Step 3: Reach Your Goals

Objective:

With each practical decision you make and each step you take, propel yourself further along the path to unlocking your full potential and being true to yourself.

Activities:

  1. Decision Making: Make informed and practical decisions that align with your goals and values.
    • Decision Matrix[5]: Use tools to weigh the pros and cons of decisions.
  2. Progress Tracking: Monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed.
    • Journal: Keep a journal to track achievements and reflect on progress.
  3. Accountability: Establish accountability mechanisms to stay on track.
    • Accountability Partner: Partner with someone to hold you accountable.

Questions:

  • What decisions do you need to make to move closer to your goals?
  • How will you track your progress and stay motivated?
  • Who can support you in your journey?

Step 4: Embrace Your Journey Towards Fulfillment

Objective:

Revel in the realization that you are already shaping your journey on your own terms, ensuring that you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

Activities:

  1. Celebrate Successes: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, big and small.
    • Milestone Celebrations: Plan celebrations for reaching key milestones.
  2. Reflect on Growth: Regularly reflect on your growth and progress.
    • Reflection Sessions: Schedule regular sessions to reflect on personal growth.
  3. Mindfulness Practices: Incorporate mindfulness practices to stay grounded and present. Everyone has his own ways to achieve this step, the aim is to find what works for you.

Questions:

  • What have you achieved so far and how does it make you feel?
  • How have you grown and evolved during this journey?
  • What practices or activities help you stay present and fulfilled?
