This Salsa-Inspired Workout Will Fire Up Your Glutes in Just 10 Minutes

Fitness

Ten minutes are all that dancer and fitness instructor Luis Cervantes needs to get your heart rate up and your booty burning. This high-energy dance workout incorporates salsa moves and lower-body exercises for a glute-focused workout that still feels fun. The short and spicy movements stay low to the ground, activating the quads with leg pulses and targeting the glutes with bodyweight squats. Expect to body roll and shimmy during any rest time, keeping it moving until the next round of leg pops and ball changes.

Beyond the glute-centric cardio, Cervantes also includes a short combo that’ll make you forget you were working out in the first place (just make sure you have enough room to back it up). When in doubt, assistants Lilian Gonzalez and Christina “Poofy” Moffitino are there to demonstrate each movement and offer additional encouragement.
