This 10-Minute Jazz-Funk Dance Class Is All About Going Full Out

Fitness

Get into the groove with a jazz-funk dance class, led by choreographer Frank Soares. This dance workout is only 10 minutes long, making it perfect for those who love all things hairography, but also have a busy schedule.

Assisted by Suzie Elia and Mina Huynh Artis, the first part of this video starts with some fluid waves throughout the upper body. Next, Soares takes the class into an energetic groove series, having fun and shaking things up, side to side. The next part of the class ramps things up by adding in some lower body (think: hip raises, leg lifts and dynamic kicks).

Soares and team also know how to bring the energy and have fun, taking viewers through this high-energy sequence with tons of motivation and a fierce attitude. “Hey baby, strike a pose!” Soares says during choreo.

Next time, make this workout a party, inviting friends and follow along. And if you have extra time after the session, check out this cool down from Sweat and Tell. For more video workouts, make sure to subscribe for new episodes each week on our PS Fit YouTube channel.
