Whether you know her as Professor McGonagall in Harry Potter, Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey or any of her other 87 (yes, 87!) roles, Dame Maggie Smith is widely regarded as an international treasure. Now, she’s adding model to her resumé as she stars in the new Loewe Spring 2024 campaign.

Channelling some major Dowager Countess of Grantham energy, Smith looks glamorous in a fur coat, silk dress and black and white ensemble in three of the new images. Also featured in the campaign are The Crown’s Josh O’Connor, Greta Lee, Dakota Fanning, and more. Who else wants to see more Maggie Smith x Loewe in the future?!

Taking inspiration from its archives ( including a pocket watch from the 1880s, a bracelet from Blue Book 1958 and a necklace from Blue Book 1975–76), the contemporary offering features links that are open and unrestricted, “symbolizing a sense of openness to the twists and turns of life.” Whether worn together or on their own, one thing is clear: silver is in!
