It’s easy to roll your eyes at yet another country music awards show, which are as numerous as bachelorettes on a Nashville Saturday night. But the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards gives fans the power to celebrate the songs they actually listen to. (The CMT Music Awards are also fan-voted but focus on music videos.)
Hosted by Little Big Town, the PCCAs assemble some of the genre’s hottest stars to perform and compete in categories like Social Country Star of 2023, Crossover Song of 2023, and Concert Tour of 2023.
