Okay, tell me I’m not the only one who thinks Sugar made a jail visit more intense than a car chase. Season 2 really knows how to mess with my brain.

Because wow, I caught myself leaning toward the screen as I could somehow hear something the characters couldn’t.

TV Fanatic has an exclusive sneak peek from Sugar Season 2 Episode 7, and I was ready for John chasing somebody, Vega causing another mess, or anything chaotic.

But Sugar goes with a jail visit and somehow turns it into a whole ordeal.

Seriously, who approved making a conversation through a sheet of glass this stressful?

Anyway, I walked away with a bunch of theories, and now we need to talk about them.

Danny Figures It Out Before John Can Finish Explaining

The first few seconds almost make you think Danny and John are just going to trade jokes.

Danny jumps straight into giving John a hard time, joking that he has to be his worst client ever since he never paid him and ignored pretty much everything John told him.

John doesn’t even let that slide and reminds Danny about the whole suit-counting thing.

I’m sorry, but that was too funny. Their petty little arguments get me every time. Then Sugar Season 2 changes the whole vibe.

John starts explaining why Danny was arrested, and you can see Danny catching on before Sugar even finishes.

The jokes disappear, and Danny starts asking questions that change the whole conversation.

I won’t spoil every detail, but Danny realizes pretty fast that this situation is much bigger than he thought.

That Unfinished Sentence Is Driving Me Crazy

The part I keep replaying comes right at the end. John keeps asking Danny to trust him, but Danny wants answers first.

Once he understands what Vega is asking for, his focus shifts completely.

Getting out of jail doesn’t seem to be his biggest concern anymore, and that changes how I’m looking at Danny’s situation.

Then Sugarstarts saying, “No matter what happens… no matter what it looks like…”

And right when John and Danny are getting into the real stuff, the deputy has to step in and end the visit. Seriously?

The timing was brutal, with John and Danny finally opening up before the visit got cut short.

Now I want to know what John was trying to prepare Danny for, and this preview definitely did not make waiting any easier.

I Already Have Way Too Many Theories

I keep changing my mind about what that warning means, and it’s driving me a little nuts.

Part of me thinks John has everything planned out and he’s setting up one huge bluff, but then I remember how Sugar loves making him deal with the fallout from his choices.

So now I’m stuck trying to figure out whether he’s actually ahead of everyone or walking straight into another mess.

That’s why this preview is driving me a little crazy.

It gives us enough to start forming theories without giving everything away, and now I’m picking apart John’s words to see if I missed anything the first time.

A short preview shouldn’t require me to analyze every word, but here we are.
